Dr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Unani & Ayurvedic Medicine at Hamdard University Bangladesh since 2014. He also served as a General Secretary, the Association for Research Survey and Services (ARSS); Join Secretary of Socio-Economic Development Program (SDP) and potential member of different social organizations. He was selected as a distinguished fellow of World Health Organization-Tropical Disease Research (India) in 2010. He published more than 15 articles in the International renowned journals. He presented his research paper in the international conferences and participated as a resource person of India, Thailand and Malaysia. He published two books in the international platform and contributes as an author of Springer.  He is an International member of Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED, USA). He also played active role as an Editorial Board Member of five International Journals and the reviewer of OMICs publishing Group, USA. He awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore India by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) AYUSH Scholarship scheme in 2009. After his medical graduation, he passed Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) from Annamali University, India and M.Phil (Nutrition and Food Science) from the University of Dhaka. Before joining as a teaching professional, he worked different national and international agencies like RMO cum Hospital Superintendent, Filaria Hospital &CDC; Project Manager, Malaria Control Program funded by Global Fund to Fights AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM) and Medical Officer & Consultant, Community Led Health Project funded by CIDA.
