A virtual memorial meeting on former Professor Mohammad Ali and his wife Professor Dr. Khaleda Hanum was organized on July 6, 2021, Tuesday at 11 am, up to to 1.30 pm. Dr. Hasan Mahmud, MP, Honorable Minister for Information and Broadcasting was the Chief Guest where Special Guests were Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain, honorable UGC member and Professor Dr. Shirin Akhtar, Vice-chancellor, University of Chittagong. Professor Dr. Abu Yusuf Mohammad Abdullah, Trusty Board Chairman of Northern University, Professor Engineer Mozammel Haque, Vice-chancellor Southern University Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Humayun Kabir, Treasurer, Chattogram International Islamic University, Dr. Shafiq Rahman, Australian expatriate educationist, were the discussants among others. Professor Dr Farid Sobhani, President BSPUA, presided over the program and Professor Dr. Ishrat Jahan, vice president (outreach), BSPUA moderated the event. Special doa was also offered by Dr. Gias Uddin Talukdar, professor, Arabic Department,University of Chittagong.
